Banter is welcome. Abuse is out.

StumpMike is the digital stadium pavilion, local cricket club and match-day chat circle, all in one app. Because our crowd includes fans as young as 16, we keep the pitch clean, fair and welcoming for everyone — in every language you choose to play in.

Welcome to the crease. StumpMike is built for cricket super-fans to share sharp opinions, back their teams and engage in legendary sports banter. Banter is celebrated; personal abuse is not. We respect linguistic and cultural diversity — whether you express your passion in English, Hindi, Tamil, Hinglish or deep cricket-insider jargon, the same rules apply to the game.

We won't sanitise your passion — but we will protect your dignity. Play the cricket, not the player.

Banter vs. abuse: the scorecard

How each space works

Public posting & replies

Quick Singles
  • No reply abuse. Don't hijack another fan's post to unleash personal insults — critique the cricket, not the person posting.
  • No quote-post brigading. Don't quote someone to direct your followers to harass, ridicule or mass-report them.
  • No moderation evasion. No spelling tricks, deliberate typos, character swaps, code words or transliterations to sneak banned words past our filters.

Live closed groups

Huddle
  • Respect the room. Keep it on the live match. Don't flood, spam or dump repetitive text, promo links or ads that drown out the action.
  • Hosts can intervene. Room hosts and automated safety protocols can switch on Slow Mode or issue temporary mutes to let tempers cool.
  • Younger-fan safeguards. Minors (16–17) and adults share Huddles, so adults must keep it age-appropriate. Profane, sexualised or adult-themed commentary and sexualised insults are strictly prohibited.
04 — Youth safety & exploitation

Zero tolerance

An absolute, protective, zero-tolerance policy.

Child exploitation & grooming. Any content depicting, promoting or referencing sexual content involving minors, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, or exploitative risk results in an immediate, permanent and irreversible ban.

Law-enforcement escalation. Beyond immediate eviction and data preservation, all instances of minor exploitation, credible threats of physical harm, or illegal activity are documented and reported to the relevant cybercrime and law-enforcement authorities.

05 — The umpire's ladder

How enforcement works

Except for zero-tolerance violations, we aim to educate and reform before removing anyone. Enforcement runs on a transparent ladder.

1

AI notice & block

Real-time systems scan text and voice. Abusive or unparliamentary language is blocked before it goes live, with an in-app notice reminding you of the rules.

2

Official warning

Repeatedly evading filters or borderline behaviour — like dogpiling or live-match baiting — earns a formal warning on your account.

3

Temporary mute

Continued infractions lead to a restriction period (typically 24–72 hours) where you can view content but can't post in Quick Singles or join a Huddle.

4

Account suspension

Serious or recurring violations result in a temporary account suspension of up to 14 days.

5

Permanent ban

Severe violations — hate speech, doxxing, targeted harassment campaigns, or recurring safety threats — lead to complete, permanent termination of the account.
